PICTURES ARE
OUR PASSION

and one of the reasons why we – Angélique Piazza and Peter Handschuh – founded Officina Fotografica in 2008.
Both of us have gained experience in the photo lab industry over a long period of time to finally bundle all knowledge and skills together.

We deliberately chose the name Officina Fotografica – The Picture Workshop – because the development of pictures into the final product desired by the customer is a handcraft; the term workshop is synonymous with individual production, customisation and manual work.

We have taken our guiding principle and our goal from Pierre Gassmann (Pictorial Service, Paris):

“The photographer is the composer; he writes the notes, and we are the conductors who interpret his score.”

A beautiful phrase that fully expresses the pleasure we take in our work and in communicating with our clients.
